LOOK Chromic Gut Sutures are sterile, absorbable surgical sutures manufactured from purified connective tissue derived from either the serosal layer of beef or the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep intestines. They provide reliable performance with controlled absorption and are indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. These sutures are suitable for oral and periodontal procedures.
The sutures are sterile and designed to resorb within approximately 10–15 days, offering extended wound support compared to plain gut sutures.
